Review- All the Tides of Fate

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 4 stars

Through blood and sacrifice, Amora Montara has conquered a rebellion and taken her rightful place as queen of Visidia. Now, with the islands in turmoil and the people questioning her authority, Amora cannot allow anyone to see her weaknesses.

No one can know about the curse in her bloodline. No one can know that she’s lost her magic. No one can know the truth about the boy who holds the missing half of her soul.

To save herself and Visidia, Amora embarks on a desperate quest for a mythical artifact that could fix everything―but it comes at a terrible cost. As she tries to balance her loyalty to her people, her crew, and the desires of her heart, Amora will soon discover that the power to rule might destroy her.

The crew is back!! Probably my favorite part in the book!

Amora's powers make her feel like a morally gray character who doesn't mind killing prisoners and taking their bones for her magic. But the truth is, it's just the nature of her powers, though dark and creepy, it's a must have to rule as queen in her world. This is what appealed to me in the first book.

I will say the first twelve chapters were a bit boring as the story was set up and we didn't get to see her powers this time around. But thankfully after that the book picked up and oh my gawd, that ending!! I was not prepared for that.

I really enjoyed the character relationships. Amora, Vataea and Shanty's friendship really shined this time around. I love these bad ass women and seeing them in action. Bastian and Ferrick were always a favorite of mine so it was nice to have them back.

The ending is what made the book. And if you've been here a hot minute then you know the ending in a book is make or break for me. So If you've read the first one, you HAVE to read this one. I command it! Just kidding, but it's a great sequel.
